About Valens

Valens Medical Partnership is a GP partnership made of eight different surgeries across the Northumberland area, looking after the healthcare needs of around 50,000 local people.

Our new partnership is led by our GP partners, and has around 200 people working across eight sites. By working together as a partnership, we are able to widen the range of services available to patients, to make it easier to access specialist care, and to take advantage of opportunities available to larger-scale practices under the developing NHS primary care management regime.

Our vision and aspiration is to improve the health outcomes for our patient population within our local communities with a thriving, innovative team that delivers high quality, sustainable healthcare. We strive to provide the highest standard of proactive, patient-centred care using a range of skilled and experienced practitioners and staff, with services delivered locally and accessibly.
