Physician Associates:

Physician associates support the practice in the diagnosis and care management of patients. They are degree qualified and have completed a specific medical post graduate qualification and placements to gain the necessary experience in primary care prior to taking on their qualified position. A physician associate works alongside our GPs and the rest of our healthcare team and can carry out similar tasks as a GP does such as taking medical histories from patients, performing physical examinations, diagnosing illnesses, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and analysing test results.

Patient Services and Administration

We have a dedicated team including secretaries, receptionists and administrators. To ensure that they can assist you as efficiently as possible they may need to ask for further details or check information in your medical records when you telephone the surgery. They are available to help you during surgery hours either by telephone or at the front desk and are bound by the same rules of confidentiality as the doctors and nurses.
