In addition to our traditional surgery services, Valens now operate a convenient online service which allows you to arrange:
- Telephone and face to face appointments
- Medical advice for common problems
- Repeat prescriptions
- New fit notes/fit note extensions and GP letters
- Results from recent tests
You do not need to register for this service, just click the button below.
For help using our online service, please follow the following link: animahealth.zendesk.com
We also use a secure website called SystmOnline which enables you to:
Order repeat prescriptions
- View your medical records
- Change your personal details including name, address & contact numbers.
You need to be registered for this service to use it.
Who can register?
Any patient who is 16 years of age or older can apply for access to their own medical records.
How to register for SystmOnline
If you would like to be able to use SystmOnline, you can apply for access by completing a request form which can be collected from Reception or printed from the link below. When you return the completed form, you will need to bring photo ID with you so we can verify who you are. The surgery will then look into your request and your medical record will be available for online viewing with 28 days. If access is granted, you will be able to log in using the SystmOnline button above.
If you have already registered to use SystmOnline, but you do not currently have access to your online medical record, you can use the form below to request access.
Click here to download the Online Access Form to register for online services.
If you require help with logging in, including resetting an existing password or collecting your account details after handing in an access form, please contact the surgery, or ask at reception.
Access to medical record viewer
From 1 February 2023, patients with an online account will automatically get access to their full GP health record, including free text, letters, and documents. Patients will see new information once it is entered, or filed, onto their record in the clinical system.
Patients will not see historic, or past, health record information from before 1 February 2023 unless they have already been given access to it, or it is requested from us.
New patients with an online account registered with Valens after 1 February 2023 will lose any access they had to historical information from their previous practice but will automatically get access to their future record in full from registration.
