Our Surgeries

Valens Medical Partnership is a GP partnership, with eight sites across South-East Northumberland. Together, we are able to strengthen our collective clinical workforce, and ensure that all of our surgeries provide a consistently high standard of care.

Our surgeries offer core services such as GP and Practice Nurse appointments as well as a number of clinics to support patients in managing long term conditions. We also employ a number of practitioners in areas such as musculoskeletal pain, medicines management, mental health and social support and wellbeing. We also work alongside the local community services team which includes health visitors, midwives, podiatrists and district nurses to ensure our patients receive a co-ordinated approach to their ongoing care.

Valens Medical Partnership offers a range of specialist services that can reduce the need for patients to attend hospital for certain problems. These clinics may be based at other local Valens GP surgeries. If you need them your GP will refer you directly for an appointment where necessary, thereby helping you to benefit from local diagnosis and/or treatment.
